Make a difference

Just watching the news lately and it seems everyone wants to “make a difference” in the world. But usually by marching and screaming and carrying signs with hateful slogans. But I was reading in Jude today and came across this scripture 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference. So if we really want to make a difference in the world, stay close to the love of God. Thank Him for His mercy toward us and show that mercy and compassion to others and make a real difference in the world. God bless, have a great day!

Just a reminder today, we see tragedy after tragedy happening all around us. But all is not lost, we have a Savior, we have forgiveness, we have hope!! And all of it is found in the mercy, grace and compassion of Jesus. He gave His life to save ours! So even though it is dark we should shine because we are forgiven and we have the hope like an anchor this world needs. Remember Phil 2:15 let us be pure and harmless in Christ to be a light in the midst of this dark world. A single candle shines bright in the darkness! God bless and have a great day!

Thankfulness challenge!

We are called to be thankful! 1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us it is the will of God to be thankful! If we are constantly thankful we don’t have time to look for what we don’t have or complain about other things. So during the month of November I challenge you to write down 5 things you are thankful for each day. No duplicates. Enjoy and keep looking for things to be thankful for!
